VisionTek Ships GeForce4 Cards Minus Components
VisionTek shipped the initial orders of Xtasy GeForce4 Ti4600 without the video in & out cable and video editing software. Production delays from the cable and software vendors that caused this delay are being rectified, VisionTek said today in a press release. Customers who ordered a VisionTek Ti4600 with the parts not included in the box will receive a note with a web link to get these parts sent to them as soon as VisionTek?s vendors fill the order. Future products will be shipped with all items included in the retail package.
?After much debate, we decided it was more important to get the video board into the customer's hands as soon as possible and follow up by shipping the cable and software as soon as we get them from the vendors,? VisionTek added in their statement.

So $400 for a barebones video card? not for me...
