This card was a BB BF purchase for my son. When he plays Counterstrike on this card he complains of people accusing him of speed hacks. They too see his character moving in the game too fast. What could be causing this? Also of note, he experiences a slight pausing/glitching during movement in the game.

How do you connect an HDMI cable to this card? I only see 2 DVI and a super video connector. I'm feeling a little slow here, as the box suggest ATI AVIVO HD enables a one-cable connection. O.K. how? Tia.:brokenheart:

To answer your first question, if it doesn't actually have some kind of hack on, I'm guessing a reinstall of the game will fix it. Make sure your old video drivers were deleted properly before adding the new video card too. I'm not very familiar with CS though admittedly.

It should have come with some kind of dvi to hdmi converter. It looks something like this: http://www.dynavector.com.au/i...s/HDMI-DVI-adapter.jpg. You just need a hdmi cable to connect after using the adapter, otherwise you can purchase a dvi to hdmi cable. I suggest monoprice.com, about as inexpensive as you can get and they work just as well as the insanely priced monster cables.

madh83, thanks for the info. I wasn't familiar with the HDMI to DVI connector, that's cool.

As to reinstalling the drivers, and deleting the old ones first, and reinstalling the game; he did all that. Multiple times. Got the latest drivers as well. Maybe he will try going back a driver version or so and see if that makes a difference.

He says all the games look great, except the one counterstrike. It's the one he plays the most, lol. Thanks for your input, I appreciate the heads up.

I doubt that a graphics card is causing "speed hacks". It's probably your usual CS whiner that complains about a good player and looks for something suspicious to distract from their lack of skill or something.
