Saw the info here...linky. Basically Compuplus has it for $155 and there is a $50 mail-in rebate. Shipping is unfortunately $14.95.

I'm thinking hard about waiting for the GF4 Ti4400 now.

Sorry if this has been posted before.

I don't see any rebate mentioned on the site at Compuplus, care to elaborate? This card or the Gainward are what I've been looking for for about 2-3 months for my next upgrade, but I've been fighting to get below the $150 mark. I'm not Ferengi enough to do the camp out at Best Buy in the Black Friday crowds bit.

A link to a non Best Buy specific rebate would make my day.

Thanks for the Newegg link. I like them and have bought from them before. Never bought anything yet from Compuplus but I suppose they're fine.

If you buy with AMEX BLUE from Newegg,
you can BVG to Comp-U-Plus or Amber Pc 's 155 (there is a $149 from enpc.com but it said bulk)
and save on shipping.

Already got my rebate on the first ti200, ONE rebate per household, easy to get around I guess. Instead of wheresmyrebate.com, (they never send until you call them) should be called dudewearelivingofftheinterestoneverybodysrebatemoney.com Oh, BTW, thanks for posting this deal. :)

Maybe wait until closer to the 28th (when the rebate expires) to see if the price comes down further so you can get it for cheaper and still get the rebate....

great find, think I will jump in on this.

I have a question about Newegg shipping costs, why are the shipping costs on a 32 meg Smartmedia card and a 64 meg Smartmedia different? It's not like they are different sizes, shapes, or weights!!! They are even the same brand. oh well, gotta get a profit anyway ya can.

Here is my $.02.....this rebate business is the pits. I got in on the Black Friday GForce 3 from Best Buy.
I still haven't seen the rebate from VisionTek. I've called Best Buy and Emailed both expressing my dissatisfaction with this BS. Best Buy said not to expect a rebate before mid to end of March.
That's 4 months for a rebate folks......totally unacceptable and it should be illegal.

Grrrr, I wish I had heard about this rebate a couple of weeks ago. Was it posted before and I missed it, or is this the first? Just wondering.

Is this the fastest geforce 3 you can buy?

Or are there better ones?

How would the Geforce 4MX stack up against this card?

seems like a good deal tho.

lebe0024,

<< You need the UPC from the box! Copies not accepted. Do OEM cards give you that? >>

No, but both Compuplus and Newegg say "Retail."

I have them both, and you did better by getting the GS.
Beats the VT in every aspect, and is worth paying the $30 to $40 extra.
It's as close to a Ti500 as you can get, without paying the high price.
GS running great at 264/562.
VT's unstable best is 230/530.
Only bought the VT because it was $99 after rebate, and my prior GF2 was a great VT card.
But, I would jump at the chance to trade my VT + add $40 for another GS.
