Visiontek Geforce3 TI 500, DVI-> CRT, and Dual Monitors

Hi, i'm asking this for a friend who's not on AT.

He has, like the title says, a GF3 TI500, that has the DVI and the CRT connections. He thought you could dual monitor it if you bought a DVI->CRT adapter, but all that gives him is 2 screens with the same thing (pretty funny to me IMO).

So... is it possible to have dual monitors?? (like real duals... not 2 of the same) Something not config'd right? Or is this option only avail with Geforce4's and ATI cards....

the geforce 3 doesnt support it.


that port is DVI-D , not DVI-I usually.


either way , geforce3 doesnt support dual monitors.
