I'm trying to install a Geforce 2 MX400 PCI to run my second monitor. I went through the installation with the supplied drivers but Device Manager gives the message "This device cannot start (code 10)". I have tried
several PCI slots with the same result. I tried switching to the newest Detonators but it tells me that they aren't any better than what is currently installed and forces me out of the installation. If I uninstall the card via
Device Manager, it automatically reloads the older drivers (the ones I originally installed from disk) when I reboot. Is there a way to keep it from doing this so that I can start fresh and install the newer Dets? Any other work arounds?

Motherboard: SOYO Dragon+ (Via KT266A)
CPU: Athlon XP 1900+
Primary graphics: Visiontek Geforce3 Ti500
