Ahhh, Quadro cards. Yes, PNY is the exclusive for retail Quadro products, but system builders can get OEM Quadro cards that aren't from PNY.

BTW, according to BFG's CEO that is not how they got the exclusive Quadro business, which I think happened around 2001 or so.

That's like all other companies with lifetime warranties (except XFX, which extends to second owner but receipt and product registration still required).

Sorta related, why is PNY the only workstation VC manufacturer? I would think with Evga/XFX/BFG being Teir 1's they would get at least a piece of the pie.

I will also say that depending on the company, you may get help anyways with malfunctioning products. A while ago BFG RMA'd a 7800GS which would not function in a Dell Dimension 8400 even though I was like the third owner and it was definitely out of warranty. I did make that clear to them when I called too, and yes this is pseudo-aimed at Zap.
