which one should I go for, or is there another way to spend these money + 100$ (~470$ I have for spending)

Get the cheaper one, GF3 performance is about equall across the board.
I have the Visiontek GF3 and love it.
 
The VisionTek GF3 will be $299 at BestBuy this Sunday, Sep 2. (after instant & mail-in rebates), according to HardOCP.com.
 
i got an elsa gf2 gts and it's awesome!! i know it's not a gf3 but i think elsa i great all around!
 
I would choose the Gladiac 920 because Elsa just recently announced a new build of the board which should offer better overclocking ability (if you are into that thing). And generally speaking, the image quality of Elsa video cards are slightly better than the competition.
 
even anandtech though says the gainward geforce3 hasthe best 2D visual quality of the bunch..so I'm going with that from new egg.

should I even upgrade though?

i was thinking of seling my tbird 900/kt7/256 ram and buying a DDR board, 256 ram, 1.4 gz tbird and possibly sell my voodoo5 and get a geforce3

or should i wait for PALOMINO? I don't OC s dont worry about it's cool temp and being able to OC czu of it.....?!?!
 
I should have been more clear. I meant that Elsa cards generally have the best 3D image quality. In terms of 2D image quality, the general consensus is that the Gainward PowerPack has the best.

EDIT: The PNY Verto GeForce3 is also supposed have 2D image quality on par with the Gainward.

NForce ..i don't like integration, even if its an MX card that's "more powerful" than normal....and I hate waiting, i'm always waiting it seems!!!!
