Okay, I finally got the hotfix DL'd and got my 512mb Visiontek HD2600 Pro benchmarked :) I figure these numbers should come in handy for some of you thinking about getting one of these cards if you don't already have one.

I ran the benchmarks at default settings on 3DMark but my HD was Oc'd from 600/810 to 702/1098 .

I play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. @ 1024x768 mid detail ( view distance and lighting at max with AF at max as well ) and it's 100% playable, even when jumping arround like a monkey in the middle of a pack of mutant dogs whilst capping them with my Fort 15 If I turn the lighting to static I can play on 1280x1024 :p

Also I play Crysis @ 1280x1024 with low detail and 8x AF with no slowdowns.

I play CoD2 @ 1280x1024 with everything except corpses and smoke on max with no AA and 8x AF.

I can ( though I hate the game ) play Doom 3 on 1280x1024 on Ultra Detail and get 25 - 60+ FPS.

Hey those scores are good.

I score 3331 in 3d06
6500 or so in 05.

Not bad for such a cheap card. I paid 200.00$ for this card(7800gs) 2 years ago.

If I jam the fan to 100% with ATITool, I can run the core at 695mhz :) Mem still won't budge anymore :(

I'ma rebench @ 695/1098 and again at the stock 600/810 later today :)

Crysis demo plays very smoothly!...although I have everything set to low. This is in a little MSI mega pc, so i really cant complain. It gets its job done.

How do you get the mem clock so high? Im going to go mess with it now...

I could ask the same about your GPU clock -_- Luck of the draw.

Some cards have a good GPU, some have good memory, very few will have a good GPU and mem in terms of overclockability. Course if you ask me it's better to have good mem than a GPU as the GPU can sometimes be OC'd more with better cooling whereas all the cooling in the world won't help much with mem.

so much for crysis, i bought the game, it plays like dogshit no matter what the settings.

for whatever reason, the actual game plays worse than the demo and the benchmarks show, but especially during those crazy fighting levels.
