Visiontek 4870x2 Power Supply Question

Hi,
I have an OCZ ProXStream / 1000W power supply that has (4) 6-pin PCI-E connectors. I am getting the Visiontek 4870x2 from best buy in the mail in 2 days (thanks Ocguy31), and I would appreciate your input. The Visiontek requires an 8pin PCI-E connector so I know I'm going to need either an adapter or a new power supply. I checked the Box content info from Best Buy's website and it doesnt look like the Visiontek comes with an adapter. I searched the boards for info but I am still a little confused. Do I need an adapter that converts (2) of the 6pin connectors to an 8pin connector, or just a 6 pin connector to an 8 pin connector? These are the product links from my research:

If anyone can guide me in the right direction or has a different product they recommend, I sure would appreciate it. I'm kind of nervous about using an adapter that could fry my new $470 video card. (the most I have ever spent was about $200 on a Video Card before this)

Thanks Again.

This really doesn't have anything to do with video, I'm moving this to the Power Supply forum.

Update:
Contacted Visiontek and OCZ and neither of them have one.

The 6 to 8 pin adapter I purchased seems to be working fine, but my system reboots during medium load on my graphics card. Only started happening after I installed the graphics card. Could it be that the graphics card is not getting enough power using the 6 to 8 pin adapter?
(Note: nothing on my system is overclocked)

Thanks
