But I cannot say it's the card's fault, LOL...probably mine.
I have the following setup:
ABIT KT7-RAID (latest drivers, updating bios tonight)
IBM Deskstar HDD
SB Live X-Gamer
Etherlink III NIC
Nvidia Riva TNT 16mb Video card
My Riva TNT is running the detonator 3 drivers...I uninstalled those drivers, selected standard windows drivers for 640x480 - and popped the new card in.
I reinstalled the latest Detonator3 drivers (win631?) and hit ok...all looked good. Started up a game to see the improvement..and got a nicely striped and colored screen (went green for a short bit too). It completely locked me up.
So...I restarted, everything ok...and hit the VisionTek website. By the time I read the third page, it did it again.
Now I try restarting and the monitor will not even recognize a signal...so, I pulled the card, put in the old Riva TNT - and am working just fine.
Do I have a dead card?? Or is there a fix for this?
Thanks!
