I realize it is a long shot, but do any of you have this combination of scanner and OCR software working together? I have had the 4400's installed for some time on both of my machines running with TextBridge Pro OCR software. I bought the new OmniPage Pro 11 and installed it. It's scanner wizard has trouble recognizing the Visioneer scanner and on the second pass does a LE install, after which the scanner is fouled up. I had to uninstall the scanner and reinstall the TextBridge. I did download the latest drivers from Visioneer's site, but they don't modify the installed drivers -- apparently I have the latest version already on the machine. I am about to return the OmniPage Pro (it cost $90) unless someone knows how to make it "play" with the 4400.
