Vision improvement over time

Torn Mind

Lifer
Went with my sister to get her eyes checked in response to her recent 5.7 a1C results....her results were that her vision had improved from like .75 correction to .25 since her last visit 8 years ago. Also, no diabetic damage.

She never used her glasses much(the trouble was seeing things far away), maybe that helped?

I've been wearing glasses since I was a kid and contacts/glasses since I was 18. Had to wear them all the time. My prescription was -3.5 in one eye and -3.25 in another but it started not to feel right. When I went in for my exam when I turned 40, I went down to -2.25 in one and -2.0 in the other, it was much better. The doctor told me during the exam at that age it is normal to gain eye strength for some people.

Now at 46 I got +1.25 reading glasses to wear over the contacts to read for smaller print, or I just take of my glasses If those are what I'm using.

Pics of sister?
