I'm creating my flowchart shapes and connecting them with the connector tool.
I'm using the decision symbol to represent my if statements and I'm double clicking on the connector line and typing "Yes" or "No" to represent the two paths.
The problem is that some of the connector lines are really long and the words "yes" or "No" end up in the middle of the line way down the page from where the decision symbol is. This makes it a little more difficult to read because you have to trace down the lines to see which path is yes and which is no.
What I would like is to be able to have the "yes" and "no" right at the beginning of the connector line next to the decision symbol so you could instantly see which side is yes and which is no.

I know I can just use text labels and put them next to the exit points of the decision symbol, but this is a little bit of a pain. Is there anyway to tell Visio that you want the connector line label to display at the beginning of the line rather than at the end?

yes, the text block tool (on the toolbar, drop down the regular text tool, the A, and select the A with a circle around it)

then you can resize, move, rotation, drag it up and down, drag it off the connector...etc

(visio 2002 at least)
