Visa and MasterCard...What's the difference?

What are the difference? Can I just use any card anywhere in the world??

You have to call two different 1-800 numbers to get a hold of them.

Actually I think its the other way around, I believe Mastercard is more accepted. I have been to places overseas that only accept Mastercard, of course I could be wrong.

I think that they are equally accepted around the world but when I used to work retail I noticed that many people use thier Visa to purchase things rather than Master Card.
