Virus

Hi,

While going through the registry editor when I clicked on HKEY_CURRENT_USER I found two entries (keys) on right side of window pane which are

Default
Trojan horse Downloader.Generic2.EBC.

I am afraid my computer is infected with spyware or virus. Pls Help.

Do you have anything as far as Antispyware /Antivirus/Firewall running or installed?

I have AVG email server edition with resident shield enabled and windows sp2 built in firewall running on my system.

Try Super anti-spyware..... http://www.superantispyware.com/
then try Spybot S&D, and adaware SE, and then try to run a virus scan.

If it is a tough cookie to break try booting into safe mode and running those programs.
