I copied an fdisk boot floopy to a cd and norton 2005 said I had a virus on my computer.
When I looked at the details it said it was in my floopy drive. The virus name is Rul.336
I went to nortons web site and looked it up and it didn't list it as a virus just a definition.
I scoured the web looking for Rul.336 and found nothing virus related. It didn't fix, repair or
quarentine anything and there was no backup created. Is it possible that Norton saw what
it considers suspect activity and gave me the warning. Also it shows up everytime I do a scan.
It won't go away. Any info or ideas as to what it saw and how I can get it out of Norton.
I have done 3 online virus scans from places like F-SECURE and they all found nothing.
