Virus scan from dos?

Hi all,
I'm still trying to deal with my registry problem outlined below. I have no clue how to do a virus scan from dos? Can someone point me to some info on this or tell me how to do it? I have NAV 2001 with up to date defs.

Thx as usual for any help.

Gary

Go to the directory you installed Norton in

Running NAVDX.exe should pop up a list of command line switches to make it work. Then, just run it with the switches you need, and it should scan for viruses.

If you just run NAVDX.exe from the install directory (C:\progra~1\norton~1\navdx.exe BY DEFAULT INSTALLATION) without any command line switches, it will present you with a list of options. I've had to do this a couple of times and isolated my problems. Good Luck! Viruses SUCK!
