Virus question: "file could not be repaired"

Nocturnal

Lifer
Does the above mean I was just owned by whatever virus Norton detected? Cuz I went to a website linked off someone's link page and it said the page was an error and Norton gave me that pop up about a virus and not being able to repair the file 🙁

Then you're probably hosed, a minendo is probably required.

No you're fine. If it can't fix it quarrantines it.

Not all of the time, sometimes I had to quarantine the file manually. Check under Norton and see if the file is under the Quarantine section.
