Hello, I was trying to get to a website but forgot part of the name and I got one of those crappy generic search pages and a ton of pop-ups. ZoneAlarm gave me the following message under the banner of "Server Program":
"Do you want to allow Distributed COM Services to act as a server?"
I am behind a firewall/router, and ZA blocked it but I am just curious what it is. All I could find is some people thinking it's spyware or probably more correctly a legitimate windows file (oh, it's in the system dir); my worry is that there is some flaw something is trying to exploit. Is this something I should worry about? I am using an old version (4.X)of McAfee yet they still provide DAT files so I assume it would pick it up if it were a virus. Well, any help and information would be appreciated...oh, the site I typed in was www.wscr670.com but I had wanted wscr670am.com
