Virus...no word...

A while back my computer had a virus, and I lost "word". I want to download some templates to design wedding invitations and such but being that most of them seem to open in word, I'm having no luck.

Does anyone know of another program that is the equivilant to word, that I could download and use the templates in?

I hope what I said makes sense! Thank you!
