Just this morning when I started using Mozilla at work, I get the following message on every webpage I go to, including my Gmail and Hotmail.

"The proxy moz-proxy://Agency-Proxy:8080 is requesting a username and password. The site says: "moz-proxy://Agency-Proxy:8080"

Mozilla also looks updated, and I did not do this, but I think it was just an automatic update overnight. Is there any cause to be worried about the request for username and password?

As I was not 100% sure where to post this, I full accept that a Mod might move it to more appropriate area.

Yes it's to be worried about.. Sounds like you have a hijack in progress.

Do a "Restore" to an earlier date..

Update your virus protection and scan..

Also download MBAM if you don't have it & scan/repair with it..

It's a work computer, so I don't have Admin rights to make any changes. For now, I just uninstalled it and will HAVE to go back to IE. Thank you for reply though, and I did find it rather suspicious...plus I'm paranoid, lol :)

I was using Chrome up to about a year ago, and then one day, it was blocked...so that's when I switched to FF. Chrome still isn't working to this day :(
