I recently was checking my emails and I got one in my spam folder saying "Important, critical security updates for Windows". It was actually a .exe virus (duh). I was not dumb enough to open it but I am just wondering how many people you all think opened it. It actually seems like a good scam to me because you know people would open it if they had windows and were not up-to-date enough to recognize something's up. It would take away the possibility of failure to infect due to wrong os. I use linux by the way, but all the security in the world is not going to help someone when they open a ticking bomb like that.
I think I just felt like ranting a little. Think about it. They can write code that can screw up anyone's computer. How would they like it if someone took a sledgehammer to theirs. I guess it is less anonymous though...
