I know I've done this before in vdub, but I can't figure out how I did it. I've got a long (hour) DV video clip I want to speed up to be just a couple minutes long. If I use the decimate filter, it stays the same length, just fewer frames. If I adjust the framerate, it stays the same length, just changes the number of frames. What am I missing here?

A playa helping another playa out.

Make sure you have "direct stream" for video picked and no audio (it'll get messed up anyways), be much quicker to processed too.
This is just an example using a 60 minute long video at 30 fps.

First go to Menu, Video, Frame Rate.
In "source rate adjustment", "Change to ____ fps", put in 180 (max allow that can multiply by 30)
in "frame rate conversion", "convert to fps" put in 30

save it and you will get a 10 min video.

Now open that video you just saved to Vdub.
Do that 1 mo tyme with the 1st value at 90 and 2nd 30.

And you'll get a 3 min 20 sec video now. Tried it with Vdub 1.5.8.
