When I check the 3D Acceleration box it says that the host's graphics don't support 3D acceleration! It worked fine with my 2 old GTX 460 1GB SLI but not with my relatively new 2 GTX 760 2GB.

I tried everything before bothering you people (reinstalling drivers, turning off this and turning on that) but I'm at a loss.

Thank you.

Are you running 4.3.10 r.... (latest version with up to date guest additions)? Also what is your host/guest setup? 3D working fine for me (Win 7/Ubuntu 14.04)
just an aside, if you set monitors to 8 you get 256 MB Option for VM. Then you can close and update settings to 1 monitor and you get the full 256 MB

Hi. Yes, I'm running the latest version with guest additions. My host OS is Windows 7 HP SP1 and the guest is Windows XP Pro SP2 (32-bit). I flashed my 2 760 BIOS' to 1228/7600 at all times. Would this screw it up?

Thanks for the tip about getting 256MB of VRAM.

All my games and benchmarks are working properly. Should I disable Vanderpool in my BIOS?

I solved the problem. I flashed the GPU BIOS' back to SC standards and now I have 3D Acceleration. Probably a blessing in disguise.
