just a quick question. i search a bit but couldn't get any concrete answers.

does anyone know if virtual PC supports remoting into the VM? I want it to work like VNC where I can setup the machine so I can connect to it over the Internet. Can I do this through VPC or do I need to setup VNC or a similar solution on the VM itself to do this? Do you have to use remote desktop?

I was also kind of wondering if any VM server out there has a remote portal type page. Something where I can log-in, view a list of all the VMs running on that server, and log-in to whatever VM i need at the time.

VMware Server/ESX Server has this, as does Hyper-V. I'm not sure if VirtualPC has it, but as it's designed as a single-user VM solution, I doubt it.

Either way, your fastest remote access option will be RDP.
 
It works using RDP. Can't say for sure about VNC as I haven't done it but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
