Virtual PC '07 issues

I downloaded V Pc 07 from microsofts site, the 64bit one. Installed fine on my Vista Ultimate 64 then when I go to install XP 64 in V PC it says this isn't a 64 bit CPU. And in the about under help of V pc it says the pc is an AMD Pentium x86.

Is there a setting or something i'm missing? The CPU is an AMD x64 3200

Sorry that I don't know the answer directly. However, I do use VMWare and the hardware is all virtual (though I think that they have a patch for 64-bit OS support). I suspect that VPC uses a virtual 32-bit processor, and probably everything else as well.

Yes VPC 2007 is free (so is VS 2005), but I'm taking about Windows Server Virtualization, the competitor product to VMware ESX which has not been released yet. But it will also be free.

That's awesome stash. I'm goign to check out Windows Server Virtualization. ESX 3.0 is pretty bad ass, so we'll see what MS can do.
