Virtual Memory settings...

I was told there is an equation to figuring out what to set the virtual memory settings at. Anybody know it? I'm at 512MB RAM btw.

with that much ram best to use conservativeswapfileusage=1 & leave the virtual settings alone.
start menu -> run -> type system.ini and hit enter -> under the [386Enh] heading add the following line to the bottom (without the quotes): "conservativeswapfileusage=1" -> click file and save -> then reboot

Bacilus has given you some great advice. I did the same thing (at his prompting) and now I'm fat and happy. 🙂
