virtual memory fault

my comp refuses to accept virtual memory settings(win XP). i go into the control pannel/performance/system/performance/blah blah blah.... set my memory values... restart ... and when it boots back up nothing has changed... even set it so windows would set it to the recommend value... no werkie......

PLEASE HELP !!!!!

i even reinstalled XP.. still no werkie....

the value just sits at 0... cant run games... takes 10 minutes to boot :(

This is not a General Hardware issue.

Have you installed the Intel chipset drivers and the Intel application accelerator? I had a similar issue and this fixed it for me.
