Just because you can't hear it doesn't necessarily mean you're too old, it might mean your headphones or speakers aren't able to produce such a high frequency.

I'll download this when I get on my laptop, there's no good way to hook headphones up to the PC.

I'm guessing its a name of some software that can locate position based on audio recordings.

At 21 i tried all 3 of the sound recording and could only hear the first one.

I don't listen the music on my speakers that loudly but i use my canal phones quite a bit.

My thoughts as well. Even with good speakers/headphones, your player might not be up to the task. I heard it just fine and I'm an oldie. There was something like this posted a month or two ago that was harder for me to hear, but I still could hear it (gave me a bit of a headache to be honest).

I couldn't hear it either (21) :(

I'm 23 and could hear it when i put the players volume at max (window's volume about midway) and my headphones are the crappy sony ones from walmart that wrap around the back of your head... a friggen horrible design. It's kind of weird though, sometimes I can't hear it, so i move the slider back and forth, restart it, mess with the volume etc. and then i can hear it clear as day. o_O

anyways, the best way i can describe it, is it's like when you have a headache or have been sick and lying down, then sit up quickly and the pulsing pain behind your eyes. the pulses come at about 90 beats per minute.

Yeap... the first sound was a recording, so there was talking in the background but I could hear it... The 2nd one I could hear clearly, it pulsated and the higher you crank it, the more it hurts your head after a while. The third one I had to crank my volume up 1-2 notches (I use lowest settings on window, highest wave) to fully hear the sound, but I can hear it on the lowest notch... That third one gave me a massive headache. It's like the beep you hear when you change altitudes ringing in your ear, but a lot stronger.

Woo, massive headache now. I'm 17.

20 (21 in May), and I can hear it.

It's really hard to describe. The best I can do is that it resembles that weird electric hum that occurs when a CRT Monitor or TV turns on.
