Virtual drive being recognized as a physical drive

I had been using Alcohol for quite a while for my image mounting needs. Well, I was doing some "maintenance" (apparently screwing things up :p) and I broke my Alcohol. Not a big deal, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

Well, when I uninstalled it it still had a virtual drive activated, and when I reinstalled it it recognized that drive as a real physical drive. How do I get rid of it?

Delete the registry entry under HKLM/System/MountedDevices. Personally, I would kill for my virtual drives to be recognised as such.

Well the problem is I can't change it or anything. It has the old image (that doesn't even exist anymore) mounted to it. If it worked then I'd love it too :p

Edit: And thank you ;)

Hmm, actually that didn't work. I delete the entry(s) and when I reboot they're all back.

Edit: The file is no longer mounted, but the drive is still on the list of physical DVD drives.
