Virtual CD drives ?

"My Computer" shows seven CD drives! Two are physical drives -- one a 50X reader and one a DVD/CD burner. The other five come from nowhere so far as I am concerned. That isn't quite true since one apparently is created by CloneCD and another by Alcohol 120%. I can't even guess at what software created the others. I would like to get rid of them, but have no idea of how to do that. The newest version of Alcohol 120% gives you an option to create a virtual CD on first bootup, but installing it did not remove any of the virtual CD drives already there -- even though I unchecked the box to create a virtual CD.

I believe there should be settings in each programs control panel to enable Virtual Drives on startup.

I'm using Daemon tools for Virtual Drives and it allows me to set up quite a few VD's (don't remember the number right off).
