Surprisingly not from lawsuits. The guy just didnt run his business properly.

Oh, and a judge upheld the negligence charges.

But reduced the awards to the plaintiffs.

The negligence charges you linked are against the state of Virginia and college, not the owner of the online store which sold the gun used in the rampage. And unless there was a criminal record ignored or some other factor during the sale, I'm not sure how you could hold the seller liable or negligent.

Why is this a story? The gunman could have bought the gun from anywhere, probably even walmart. The owner doesn't hold any responsibility, period.

I never said he did. But a lot of parents tried to.
And again, he didnt go out of business due to lawsuits or protests. It was being a shitty business owner.
