Most people I knew thought Hillary's comments and actions were offensive at the time (see also Bill's cuts to AFDC). Did you complain back then?
I don't think he should resign because of the picture.
The fact that this picture showed up in a yearbook establishes that this sort of thing was culturally accepted in the time period. It was considered normal goofballery.
Things change. People change.

Besides, the past peccadillos of a "life-long" US Supreme Court justice far outweighs the past peccadillos of a "termed" state governor.
Im sure they did, you might not have known about it though. Being offensive used to be considered humorous. Seems like an odd thing for a medical school yearbook though, but I think a medical school having a yearbook period sounds odd.
If he would have just said I’m sorry, it was a mistake and moved on I can respect that. But instead he backtracked and denies it was him just makes him look weak and like a liar. Nobody’s buying it but now you look much worse than you did before.
He only saving grace for him is oddly enough that his Lt Governor appears to be a rapist s
Looks like they're going to impeach Fairfax if he doesn't resign. Either way Northam would be well advised to appoint a non-white woman to the Lt. Gov office.
real smart of the republicans to find these year books. No way will it backfire on them when people start looking up republicans... oh wait..

Top Democrats Call On Virginia’s Justin Fairfax To Resign After 2nd Sexual Assault Allegation
Who needs evidence, you just need two detractors to eliminate any politician. Trials and due process are so out of style. People are automatically guilty until proven innocent in America.
No, but arbitrary and inconsistent rules born of political opportunism and lemming outrage seem like a foolish way to end them. There is no constitutional right to a successful political career.

Polygraphs are inaccurate, they can be beaten. If they were demonstrably foolproof they would be used in every court across the nation.Seems to me an FBI investigation with everyone involved taking polygraphs would settle this. Do that ensures both claims can be taken seriously. Fairfax is looking like toast. Ooops, not in the racist way.
However if Kavanaugh is precedent, he remains in office.
