If you have a Virgin Mobile account, log into your account and choose change my plan, then choose additional plans not listed.

$25 Beyond Talk Plan
Includes Unlimited Messaging, Email, Data, and Web
Includes 300 Anytime Minutes
Additional minutes are 10¢ each

Don't know how long this will last.

Isn't that with the SHITTY phones though? I'm on the grandfathered plan and the best phone you're allowed is the motorola triumph. If you get on the newer phones, they'll kick you up to the $35 plan.

I am on the $25 grandfathered plan as well. If I can get Evo V or One V on the $25 plan...I might be enticed to do just that. Otherwise, I am switching network after my current credit runs out next month.

Wow, thanks Yazoo! I just switched from the $35 plan, which looks like the exact same plan

I have the Motorola Triumph and I was given the option to switch plans at my next billing date (9/22/12), which is what I chose.

I wonder why they are offering this now? It's a great deal and I get a good signal all around town. The 3G isn't that great though, but I can live with it.

because competition is lowering prices. its easy to get unlimited everything plans now for $50 a month give or take. then you have plans like tmo's $30 4g data/text with 100 talk min.... so its not surprising virgin is trying to stay competitive.

Hmmm, well, you have the triumph though, as do i. The REAL question is whether or not you can switch to the $25 with one of the NEWER phones?

It would be nice if they did, but i don't think the upgrade will work. They sent out messages back in May that anyone upgrading to a wimax phone would lose their grandfather status. Hopefully someone using an evo can verify if the website will allow them to switch rates soon.

Thanks for finding this.

Some of us on the Howard Forum VM board tried this.....it works for the Op V accounts but not for Evo V. We are still waiting for other new phone owners to try it out.
