I dealt with Hennessey's people a few years ago, they faxed me a bunch of dyno data for a calculus project I was doing. I was impressed with them at the time, it's unfortunate he's turned out to be such a flake.

With Hennessey's tuner days nearing an end, who else is modding Vipers?

He was the only one I really followed.

Hennessey is a f-in crook and deserves what's coming to him. :| It just amazes me that it took this long for the story to be printed.

This is interesting stuff. I would imagine Hennessey operates on a fairly thin profit margin, and another six-figure judgment could be enough to put him out of business. He sounds like a shady operator to say the least, and I know I would not trust him with my (imaginary) Viper or C5.

The funny thing is that I imagine most of these buyers would be MUCH better off with a stock Viper than a Hennessey for anything other than dyno testing - stock Vipers are a handful under even the best of circumstances, and the Hennesseys must be extraordinarily scary as street cars.

I believe lignenfilter makes a killer viper ~7-800 ponies, but i could be wrong just remember reading about it in a car & driver / motor trend about a year ago.

I take that back people did notice my thread. I got ripped on though for owning a mustang and challenged to race in Houston. Oh well.
