Viper II or S3 Savage 2000 - Which drivers should I use?

I recently purchase the Viper II and noticed it has the S3 Savage 2000 as the controller. I am wondering which drivers should I install/update. When you go to the Diamondmm.com web site - there are drivers for both the S3 and the Viper. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I always use reference drivers because branded ones often lag version wise and anything added to the package is usually unnecessary bloat. For the Viper II specifically also check the BIOS version and update it if it ain't the latest.

The Viper II has TV out and I don't think the reference drivers support that. Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not entirely sure. If you don't care about TV out and just want more games to work correctly the reference drivers are a better choice.
