vIO screwing with floppy?

I have a T-Bird 900 at 1050 (7x150) and an EPox 8KTA3. I notice that if I bump the IO voltage to 3.45 (+.05), which is the minimum adjustment over default, I cannot access my floppy drive anymore, in or out of Windows.

I experimented a while to find the cause, and it is definitely the vIO. But at a fsb of 150+, the extra vIO helps keep the memory (Crucial PC133 CL2) at CL2.

Has any else had this problem? It is specific to the EPox 8KTA3 or to the KT133A chipset? Any help appreciated.
