I have a place on the side of my house where a dryer vent used to come out at, and I want to put a new piece of siding over it so you can't see the vent anymore. Do I have to somehow plug up that hole first before I put the new strip of siding on? If so what do I plug it up with?

Thanks!

Too bad, she said she doesn't want you here when she gets back because you've been ruining everybody's lives and eating all our steak.

Cover it with plywood. To prevent drafts mostly and improve insulating quality of hte exterior wall.
