Vinyl Repair Kits - Has anyone tried these?

I have my '63 Convertible up for sale and I want to make it look the best I can.

There is a small crack in the padded dash, and I was thinking of repairing it.

I see Eastwoods and others have Vinyl repair kits. has anyone tried these?

Do they work and are they worth the time and effort spent?
