Vinyl Grommets

Today I went to Home Depot, and picked up some grommets. The thing is, after going home and looking on the back, it said it is made of vinyl and not rubber. Would this be just as efficient as rubber grommets? I didn't find any other grommets at home depot after walking up and down every aisle. I asked several of the workers there, and they were literally scratching their heads wondering what the hell i'm talking about, rubber grommets...

Yes, those should work fine; I bought some the other day. When people say "rubber" they actually mean vinyl. Vinyl is used as a substitution for rubber because rubber is prone to cracking and such...
