Vintage Gaming!

Well, my friend and I were bored the other day, so we went down to his dads garage to play with the air comprssor hose (Yes, it's quite fun) When out of the blue, we find his old Pentium 133 computer, monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, and joystick! Hooked the thing up, and played all the vintage games in all their glory, thanks to a 1MB Trident Super VGA PCI video card! 🙂 Quake and Hexen II never looked so cool 😎 I couldn't believe it all worked, and the Trident video card suprised me, what was the best card ever made by Trident? I'm just trying to remember, but all I can think of is 3DFX, nVidia, and ATI now! 🙁

and i thought my (glide rig) celeron 300A @ 550 with 512mb PC133 SDram, abit BM6, aureal vortex 2, and voodoo5 5500 agp was da bomb

I did that when i found my old 386 a couple of years back. What was more fun was seeing my old BBS that i ran on it, and logging into it, and browsing through the old messages and such.

This thing brought back some memories, but we couldn't find the 486 that we played on as REALLY little kids. Heretic, Hexen, Doom, Commander Keen. ALL WENT DOEN on that thing 🙂 O the times!
