Vintage Audio

Who here owns vintage audio equipment (ie Marantz, Sansui, Mcintosh). I'm getting a Marantz 2220b receiver soon and need to get some speakers for it. Any suggestions? Perhaps some Epi's.

my brother and i were sharing a killer set of Klipsh La Scalas for a while. they didn't have a modern low-end response curve but there was plenty of low-end extension and character from those monster 15" woofers, and the mid-to-high range clarity from the big horns were astonishing. he kept them when i moved into a smaller place. now i have a little Bose AM-3 setup, which is the only Bose system that doesn't sound like dogsh!t, although it doesn't play super loud.

it's nothing to write home about...but depending on your listening levels, I'd also suggest a more efficient speaker like a horn-loaded speaker or maybe a modern full-range like a Lowther or Fostex.
