90% of those in ATOT won't know who either are, so this thread is doomed.
I voted VP, because he starred in the first horror movie I ever saw.

Are you kidding?

You know---he was famous for playing Dracula a zillion times? He played Count Dooku in Star Wars? He played Saruman in Lord of the Rings?

He was even that 3 nippled guy (Scaramanga) in the James Bond movie Man With The Golden Gun.

They guy is all over the place, how can you not hear of him?

Christopher Lee hands down for all the R-rated campy horror flicks. I mean, who doesn't like topless vampire chicks?

Ummm, no. Not "no" but "hell no".

YOU are full of fail, man. So full its leaking out your ears and spilling on the ground, tainting the ground, and causing massive failure to all the dogs, cats, and worms who use the ground.

Fail, fail, FAILLL!!!

Vincent Price, the pit and pendulum is still one scary movie. An example of you don't need gore to make a horror film.

For those that don't know about the great movies these guys made:

They also worked together on several films.

One of my favorite Christopher Lee movies.

Well worth the watching and slightly historical, covers the invention of anesthesia

VP is slightly better, but the problem is he was in many more crappy movies than CL.

Exactly the reason why I'd choose Christopher Lee. Both are icons but Christopher Lee is just that much more.

I know who they are.

I think Lee is taller. Price is dead. Lee is going to be or has been recently Knighted.

When I was a kid, I thought Lee was scary because I was really scared of vampires.

I liked the American International Price movies that were loosely based on Poe stories. The Raven is one of my all time favorite movies.

The Devil Rides Out, staring Lee, is one of my favorite moves,

It's impossible for me to choose. They are the best at what they did, but they weren't competitors. Their style and roles were completely different. Price would have been awful in a Hammer movie, and Lee would have sucked on the Pit and the Pendulum.

Apples and oranges.

I LOVED Christopher Lee as Dracula....many Saturday afternoons were wasted as a child watching double feature horror flicks on some campy tv show out of Cleveland........Super Host I think it was.

But watching Price as the Abominable Dr. Phibes on the late late movie was equally awesome.....
