Q: 2. Assume the first two statements are true. Is the final one:
1. true, 2. false, 3. not certain?
The boy plays baseball. All baseball players wear hats. The boy wears a hat.
A: 2. true
WTF? That is not true. The boy wears a hat while playing baseball or has worn a hat at one point in his life would be true, but saying that since baseball players wear hats and he plays baseball doesn't mean he wears a hat 24/7.
you are an idiot, you are simply reading the question, not evaulating if in real life this is true or false, they told you that the first two statements are true. you simply use logic to determine if according to the first two statements the third is also true.
because ALL baseball players wear hats and the boy is a baseball player then he wears a hat.
no. he could be wearing two or more hats. Thats whats wrong with these stupid tests.
OMG IT GETS WORSE!
