Q: 2. Assume the first two statements are true. Is the final one:
1. true, 2. false, 3. not certain?
The boy plays baseball. All baseball players wear hats. The boy wears a hat.
A: 2. true

WTF? That is not true. The boy wears a hat while playing baseball or has worn a hat at one point in his life would be true, but saying that since baseball players wear hats and he plays baseball doesn't mean he wears a hat 24/7.

you are an idiot, you are simply reading the question, not evaulating if in real life this is true or false, they told you that the first two statements are true. you simply use logic to determine if according to the first two statements the third is also true.

because ALL baseball players wear hats and the boy is a baseball player then he wears a hat.

no. he could be wearing two or more hats. Thats whats wrong with these stupid tests.

OMG IT GETS WORSE!

the guy reads defenses just fine. who cares?

UT should care, because our academic integrity is revealed as being non-existent. Too dumb to go to the university should mean too dumb to represent the university in athletics. Corruption FTW!

too bad every school in the country has lower academic standards for their athletes you dirty hippie.

*edit* it should be known that mercanucaribe is anti-sports and should therefore be ignored in a vince young thread.

There are NCAA rules that schools have to follow. Do they follow them? Not always. Does that make it okay to break the rules? Nope. If you win a national championship by cheating, you did not win the national championship. That means that if Vince scored under an 820 on the SAT (the NCAA minimum), and is illiterate, UT ethically forfeits the Rose Bowl victory.

Cover up. The first time a grade is screwed up and it happens to be for a guy who has a reputation for being dumb?

How do you know this is the first time a grade has been screwed up?
