Ok, I have a free account with Vimeo. I can use the login credentials in Apple TV to see my likes, etc., but when on my XPpro computer using Firefox 14 with all plugins/add-ons disabled I cannot even log into the site.

Reading via Google searchs found me a story of Flash being a problem and needing to rollback to 10.3.x and I have done exactly that, but still if I load a particular video page the player controls fail to load (without warning/error), and if I try to log into the service I get a session timed out.

I even closed the browser, launched a new browser, went directly to their website, tried to log into the service and immediately get session timed out. I am not sure what else to try, and their website seems void of admitting any compatibility concerns.

Ideas, suggestions, etc.? Again, I can log into the service via Apple TV and go about it just fine so I attribute this to either XPpro, Firefox, Flash or a combination therein.

Do other browsers work? if so then it's probably one of those flash problems with firefox which i hope they are fixing right now!

I forgot that my wife's work computer is also running Windows XPpro. I inspected it and FF was on version 10, but also using the latest version Flash. I had no problems playing Vimeo videos on it. So this morning I went back to my PC for another look.

It would seem just disabling Add-ons and restarting FF isn't sufficient to really kill them. I went and restarted XP and now I can play Vimeo videos. It wasn't readily apparent until the Vimeo video banner up top was clicked on (away from the video originally directly linked to. Once I selected another video the Vimeo player controls finally appeared.

Clicking back on the intended video had those controls show and I was then able to play the video. However, I still cannot log into Vimeo using FF14. I'll have to go back to the wife's PC with FF10 and see if it works. The wife's PC has the latest version of Flash, but not the latest FF version.
