Villanova/Kentucky

I've been watching college basketball all last night and all day today. Only game not in HD is Villanova/Kentucky.

I get CBS from Philly, does it have something to do with it being a constant feed? They wont swap out another game with nova playing.

Even so, how ridiculous!

Just read this at avsforum...

The Villanova-Kentucky game is NOT in HD in Philly on KYW. I called them and they told me that NY is not sending out the game in HD as the number of markets receiving the game is too small. Considering this is the A ream calling the game I find this hard to believe but am posting it here. I am turning this channel off for the night and find their reposne to be totally inadequate.

Are you near Lexington or Philadelphia?

Those regions are broadcasting the game in its entirety. In order to do that, they cannot show the game in HD because the HD feed cuts away to more exciting games that are coming down to the wire.

(What I assume is bolded. What I know for a fact is not bolded.)
