While I have never had this experience myself, I hear it from time to time, too. I'm a firm believer in bugging CS if you have a problem (but be nice): 1-800-201-7575

Welcome to Amazon pricing the rebate would still be good, I would check out Buy.com they have the Simpletech 256MB CF card for $39.99 after rebate not as hot as the Amazon one, but beats the current Amazon price.

I agree. But if you must have these, make good copies of all your rebate information and be prepared to mail them copies. Some people claim they are just "slow," but I think it is borderline criminal the way so many peoples rebates mysteriously never show up at the New Rochelle office. It is like there is a circular file located between the mailbox and their desk.
