I knew I should have waited, I jumped on Dell's 15% off memory a few weeks ago to buy SanDisk Smartmedia ($42, OUCH!) for also my C-4000Z... I wish I had a reader to change my Smartmedia card to an Olympus Brand so I can do some indoor panoramas (why doesn't manual mode have regular flash?)...

i have a viking 128 meg smartmedia card that died on me and i've looked all over the manufacturers site and still dont see any warranty information

anyone have any advice?

I had to send it one about a year ago. The replacement died too.
