Misplaced my Viking 56k External modem adapter. Please, reply with V and A spec to permit suitable replacement.
 
You'll have to check the 412 spec. and other such requirements to acquire a suitable replacement. As tantalizing as it may seem, the 410 spec. and the 340 spec. are far from suitable for this purpose.

Isn't the voltage and amperage on a sticker anywhere on the modem?
Viking doesn't make this stuff anymore, and hasn't for a while, but you might try to contact them.
 
I have a couple of them somewhere, but I can't find them ATM. I'll update the thread if I can turn one up.
 
I don't know if you're still around, but I found the transformer :^D

The output is 9V @ 500ma, and it's center post positive.
