A little over a month ago, I purchased this unit because of the reviews on Anandtech and the perceived quality. Well, last night I rebooted the computer and on startup, I received a CPU fan error. Open the case to find the blade unit for the bottom fan had fallen out of the fan housing. I'm now without a fan and any RPM readings.
Vigor is useless for customer service. The guy on the phone was very hard to understand and didn't speak English very well. They want me to pay for a a new unit plus shipping and then return shipping back to them or about $20 in extra ph.
Being that I can't be without a computer for a long period of time and don't want to spend a mint replacing something that's already failed on me once, what fans can be wired in tandem to a 4 pin cpu connector and replace what came with the unit?
Cliffs:
Fan crapped out.
Customer server sucks.
Replacement fan suggestions that can be wired in parallel to a 4 pin cpu fan connector.
